Non-Gala Event
On March 16th of 2020, The Holy Family Day Home closed our doors in support of the mandated COVID-19 shelter-in-place order. At the time, this seemed like the hardest decision Holy Family Day Home had ever faced – and over the last seven months, there have been more and more hard moments. These are the moments that our families have faced and they need our support more than ever.
Last year, you helped make a difference in supporting our community and honoring Patrick Ruff. Together we broke all Holy Family Day Home fundraising records. And directly because of you and your donation, when the hard times hit this year, HFDH was able to step in and help:
· Provided 20 iPads and laptops for families to maintain a connection
with HFDH
· $10,000 in direct financial support to families struggling during the
Shelter in Place Order
· Weekly grocery and toiletry distribution to all families in need
But our city — and therefore our families — are still in crisis. We need to come together now, and we need to do something we have never done before … we are hosting a “non-event” fundraiser, and we need your support!

We ask you NOT to join us for the Light Up the Night Annual Event
benefiting the Children and Families of Holy Family Day
Which will NOT be held on October 30th, 2020!
BUT, we DO ask for your support to reach our goal of $150,000 to help us meet our operating budget requirements this year!

We are grateful for every level of participation in our “Non-Gala!” And, this “Non-Gala” has NO overhead costs! All donations go straight to our program for our children and families.
Instead of having to “fill a table” or battle traffic downtown, this year you can enjoy an evening at home knowing that you have made a difference in the lives of the children and families who attend Holy Family Day Home — the oldest childcare and family resource center in San Francisco.

That’s $2,250 per household! A donation of $2,250 pays for meals for one child for an entire year. While we will miss seeing you in person, we would be so grateful to see your support come in our doors …
